Providing Holistic Psychiatric Care

I have been a psychiatric nurse practitioner since 2012. I have treated all psychiatric diagnoses but I specialize in anxiety, depression and ADHD. I work with adults only ages 18-65 years. I do not specialize in children, teens or geriatric populations. I accept AETNA insurance and will accept clients with other insurances as a self pay client. I do not have a sliding scale at this time. I do not take clients with Medicaid or Medicare related to administrative and formulary barriers set by these insurances. With the continued shortage of ADHD medications I am unable to take on clients outside of 50 miles from Ithaca, NY. I am also unable to send prescriptions for controlled substances outside of the Ithaca/Cortland area. In order to sustain my ability to prescribe ADHD medications the client will be expected to partner with myself to determine availability of the medication at their requested pharmacy.
